MIBI Plans
Plans are underway for the building of the Malawi International Bible Institute (MIBI) and its adjoining projects. The elders of Green Valley have been entrusted with the oversight of this massive project. Priestley Nkhonjera, a native of Malawi, was selected to be the Dean of the Bible Institute, and he will complete his education at Sunset Bible Institute this December. Funds for completion of the maize mill were recently received. It will be the first building project to be completed.
Welcome to the new MIBI website. We are just getting started so please be patient as we develop this site.
MIBI is supported by churches of Christ to begin a branch of Sunset International Bible Institute in Malawi Africa. The school is badly needed. There are over 4,000 congregations in Malawi with very few training schools for preachers. Because of that, brethren are starving, not for bread or water, but for an in-depth understanding of “the Word of God.”
Brother Priestley Nkhonjera is in Lubbock at Sunset, training to head up this new school. He will finish in December and return to Malawi in January.

We are nearly ready to begin building a maize mill. It will be the first building to be built on the property. We are building it for four reasons:
1. It will help provide a place for the local villagers to grind their flour
2. It generates great good-will from the locals
3. It will generate income for the work
4. Our first generator will be located in the building and may provide electricity for the next building
If you can help even with $5, it would be a blessing to the Lord’s work. Make checks payable to the Green Valley church of Christ and write “for Malawi” on the memo line or donate online.

How You Can Help
Pray, pray, pray – be Prayer Warriors:
• That goals are met with the building of MIBI and the associated projects.
• For all Malawians to have access to a Bible or, if they are illiterate, to have the Bible read to them.
• For all Africans, especially orphans and widows, to have healthy drinking water, sufficient clothing, education about sexually transmitted diseases, shelter, and sufficient food to ward off malnutrition and diseases linked to vitamin deficiencies.
• For the growth of His Kingdom in Malawi and other African nations.
Donations
• During the month of July, donate a Bible to be shipped to Malawi.
• Help Murry Dixon at Janus with packing, loading and shipping needs. He will announce or post times needed.
• Donate money to MIBI or Priestley. Make your check out to Green Valley church of Christ, but in the reference line of your check, indicate whether your funds are for MIBI or Priestley or either.
• Donate money to the special collection to be taken Sunday, July 10, for travel expenses to Malawi.
